The Fall 2014 collection, also Stuart Vevers’s (ex-Loewe Creative Director) debut collection for Coach. And along with him, comes a new design aesthetic. The much touted reinterpreted Ryder bag is dubbed as one of the stars (if not THE star) of the collection.

Well, it certainly is a more youthful update, not to mention a little edgier than what we’re used to seeing from the streamlined Coach bags by former Creative Director Reed Krakoff. And now, don’t get me wrong, because I absolutely ADORED what Stuart Vevers did for Loewe (I mean, who doesn’t love the Flamenco?) and I kinda like this revamped Ryder, but it kinda seems like a Proenza Schouler-Balenciaga offspring if the two brands got married and had a kid.
