#PFW: Miu Miu Fall/Winter 15 Bags Runway & Bags Report

Don’t these thick resin/patent leather chains seem a little impractical to be held onto in this way?

Miuccia Prada went for fake exotic skins (remember the fake croc pumps for Spring/Summer 15?) once again for the Fall/Winter 15 collection. The designer went for fake croc made of plastic, embossed leopard print, but real  pythonskin in such acid colours with a glazed finishing, that, if real, you’d probably think they’re from snakes that are much more venomous and poisonous. Mrs. Prada also uses a similar colour palette as her FW15 collection for Prada with lots of pastels, thrown into the mix. What’s different is the addition of more citrusy and richer hues. As for what I liked. as per usual, it’s the photos that appear the largest. And, while it’s a rather fun and playful collection as a whole, I’m not a fan of the ways in which she combined the colours for some of the bags. I also have an issue with the interlaced leather on the resin chain straps because they’re too uncomfortable to hold onto in one’s palm because it’s so thick, and, if worn on the arm, it’s bound to leave marks, while it’s also too too thick to rest on your shoulder and is bound to slide off.
