Newsflash: California To Ban Crocodile Skins

We all know that the state of California in the US has banned the sale or display of anything made of python leather for over 25 years. And even if you shop online, python leathers can’t be transported into the state in any shape or form. Starting 2015, yet another exotic skin has been added to the blacklist: crocodile and alligator as stated in the California Penal Code Section 6530:

 (b) (1) Commencing January 1, 2015, it shall be unlawful to import
into this state for commercial purposes, to possess with intent to
sell, or to sell within the state, the dead body, or any part or
product thereof, of any crocodile or alligator.
