My Favourite Bags from Bottega Veneta’s Fall/Winter 2013-14 Collection!

The palette for Bottega Veneta’s Fall/Winter 2013-14 collection is on the dark side of the spectrum, with colours such as Black, Slate, Smoke and Pearl White, but accented and interspersed with bits of Yellow and Curry. The season boasts a slightly more uptown feel as the bags are mainly smaller, with framed details and accented with brass chains and mesh hardware.

However, 2 of my most favourite bags from the collection have to be these babies below!

This knot clutch in python is EVERYTHING! With its sculpted cameo details, python skin and brass studs and knot clasp, it strikes the perfect balance between hard and soft, and at the same time, at once edgy, and yet feminine. LOVE!

My Favourite Bags from Bottega Veneta’s Early Fall Collection!

In no particular order, today’s post is all about my favourites from Bottega Veneta’s Early Fall 2013 collection.

First up, the iconic Cabat gets a new look for Early Fall 2013, with protruding knotted ends to create a textured look. This would make an interesting piece for all you Cabat lovers out there (and I know there are loads!), especially if you already have the regular nappa Cabats. ;D

Nodini Cabat in Nero

You all know I’m a sucker for all things pink, and this particular shade of “Petale” just really hits the sweet spot. Designed in the style of a drawstring bucket bag, it looks even more feminine when you try it on.

This Carta Intrecciata Velvet bag is great for those of you who don’t want a Bottega bag that’s entirely woven. The black velvet, although slightly difficult to maintain, provides a great contrast with the woven bottom half.

Although I’m not usually a fan of Doctor’s Bags nor the Lady Chic vibe, there’s just something about the latest Bretagne Tote that makes my heart go pitter-patter. This is the epitome of classy, and all you Gossip Girl fans reading this, it’s a very Lily Van Der Woodsen type of bag, don’t you think?

So I’ve always been an ardent fan of Bottega Veneta’s Knot clutches, but this time around. the Ayers Mosaique Knot now comes with a shoulder strap! Perfect for a cocktail event, especially when we have champagne glass in hand ;D

If you’re not a fan of the Knot clutches because you don’t find them nearly as roomy enough, then this waxed leather gold metal clutch (notice the weave imprinted on the hardware) would be the perfect alternative. What’s great about this is that it could work as a day clutch too!

I’m loving the idea of how this intrecciato nappa bag is designed in a messenger style but intended for shoulder use.

Last but certainly not least, the Ayers Mosaique Bag in a combination of glossy exotic Ayers snakeskin and nappa, this is my mum’s favourite. ;D

Now that you know which my favourites are, I’d like to hear about yours! Any of these bags caught your eye?
