Fendi’s Fall/Winter 16 collection was all about ruffles, or rather, these were what Lagerfeld termed as “waves”. Classic Fendi silhouettes like the Peekaboo, Baguette, and By The Way were all dolled up with all flouncy curves and came with circular, wavy, studded, or floral embroidered Strap You straps. The latest Dotcom bag, too, had a makeover, and was given the same frilly treatment. My favourite was the bi-coloured leather Dotcom with the squiggly lines, that remind me of the slight ripple-effect when a pebble is thrown into water.
