As promised yesterday, here’s Burberry’s Special Edition handbag for the Lunar New Year! The small Buckle bag has been given a festive makeover for the upcoming celebration – it’s of the precious exotic skins sort, to be exact! In auspicious colours such as red and gold, with python detailing, this bag has certainly got you CNY-ready. Fasten the thick shoulder strap for a daytime look, and just detach the shoulder strap to convert it into a clutch! Since I’m not such a red-gold combo person (I prefer black-gold), I’ll go for the blush-peach-rose gold combo instead, which is also part of the Special Edition CNY collection!

I know, I know, the question that’s probably on all your minds is whether these bags would be available in other countries and regions that don’t celebrate Chinese New Year, but I still no word on that yet, as I’m waiting for the update from the brand. I’ll keep you lovelies posted when they’ve gotten back to me! But, for those of you who DO live in regions celebrating the Lunar New Year, they’re already available in-stores!
