#PFW: Loewe FW17 Bags Report

Jonathan Anderson’s FW17 bags for Loewe were a mix of what we have come to know as the designer’s new classic pieces for the brand,  alongs with some new silhouettes, including a simple tote,  the Midnight bag – a drawstring bucket bag which came in the loveliest suede and leather combo, and a belted wooden oversize messenger-style bag with a bold stripe motif with a style that’s reminiscent of wooden scarves. And of course the quirky pieces such as that cat bag, and the “Toast” illustration, which we saw on a hat featuring the ad campaign starring Gisele  that debuted a couple of days before the runway show.

The T Pouch now comes in an oversized polka dot motif. The Hammock bag comes with a racing stripe, in a lovely camel, grey and tan colourway which I prefer loads more in comparison to the solid coloured ones. The Puzzle in all its spotted and checkered glory, and the Barcelona family has also expanded further, with an unstructured structured as its latest addition.

My Favourites from this collection has got to be the polka dotted Puzzle Bag, and the red Barcelona with the polka dots, checks, and wool (first pic on top). Strangely though, I’m not usually a fan of polka dots but I literally let out an audible OMG when I saw that beautiful scarlet Barcelona. Major goals right there.
