New Bags From Hermès Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection!
Hermès pays homage to travel trunks of yesteryear with their latest Suitcase-inspired Maxibox Bag in Grizzly and Swift Calfskin, also known as the “Suitcase-bag”. While it’s most common for suitcases have reinforced corners in metal, the Hermès version is in luxe calfskin. If bi-colour isn’t your thing, it’s also available in single plain colours.
Inspired by security cash bags, yet another addition to the Hermès leather goods family, is the Convoyeur Bag in Barénia Calfskin. Most importantly, this bag showcases everything the House is known for: beading, polished flaps and piping, as well as saddle-stitched casing. With an unlined raw leather interior this framed bag boasts a roomy interior and a wide opening with a metal hinge decorated with a clou de selle.
The Constance is no stranger to the Hermès family of iconic bags. For Fall/Winter 2013, the Constance has been reinterpreted in a 29cm version – a size that was revived for this season from the archives. While the existing Constance has a long shoulder strap, this latest addition to the family, the “Constance Cartable” comes with a shorter strap for handcarry use, with a more satchel-esque feel.
Since the theme for 2013 is Sports, the backpack certainly can’t be left out now, can it? Available in 2 sizes, meet the Paris-Verbier 22 Backpack in Volupto Calfskin.
Now, I’ve always been a MASSIVE fan of the Jige clutch, and then came the Pliplat Envelope clutch in Evercalf Calfskin. Of course, the design aesthetic of the Jige in comparison to the Pliplat differs greatly, but I like the minimalistic clean lines of the silhouette. With 2 interior pockets made of lambskin, this clutch is available in a variety of colours and materials ranging from calfskin to crocodile. In fact, dare I say, this clutch could very well work for the stylish man too! 😉
The Plume 12H Bag is now available in a narrower version, and comes with a removable laptop case and reinforced with shock-absorbing foam under the goatskin lining so that your laptop and tech accessories (not forgetting your documents) stay protected always!
Now if you’re looking for an über-luxe zip-around case for your tech needs, meet the Zip Computer Clutch in Mat Porosus Crocodile. Originally known as the Coin à papier when it was first introduced in 1956, this was reintroduced in 2009 as an 17″ laptop case.
iPad, iPad Mini and iPhone 5 cases along with a matching Soie-Cool wallet in Epsom Calfskin and Silk, Fall/Winter 2013’s SLG collection features the Carré en cravates print, designed by Henri d’Origny.
The E-Zip Notebook case is now available for iPad Mini and perfect for on-the-go use as it comes designed to hold a notebook or calendar refill as well as compartments for your card and documents.
Say hello to the new versions of pouches in Togo Calfskin. The identifiable feature is the curved zipper on top, and is available in 3 sizes, as shown above.
Now, which of these items would be on YOUR wishlists?
