We’ve always been Fornasetti fans, so when we heard about the Louis Vuitton x Fornasetti Capsule, we were stoked! We love Fornasetti’s quirk and Surrealist and otherworldly vibes, particularly those with the faces (though understandably, some of you might find them creepy). Perhaps, that’s why, to our disappointment, the extensive 260 piece Capsule featuring Ready-to-Wear, shoes, bags, SLGs, accessories and silk, only features medallion-like motifs including Greco-Roman coin-like figureheads, and Greek statue-esque heads (including a bag in the style of a Greco-Roman bust), ornate locks, and keys.

And then there’s also the theme of Classical Italian buildings and architectural facades in white and grey, for that raw, sketched vibe, which are our favourites from the collection, especially the Petite Malle  (our weakness in every collection!)  and the Cannes, which took a more three-dimensional minaudière-like turn in this Capsule.

Personally, we love the Architectura pieces the best, because they reflect the charisterically Fornasetti vibe best! How about you? Will you be getting any pieces from the collection?
