Louis Vuitton Petite Malle from Resort 2015

By now, it’s no secret that I’m a MASSIVE fan of Louis Vuitton’s Petite Malle bag, so naturally, I HAD to feature it again because this bag is really, pure genius. Some may say that sure, it’s a nice bag but it isn’t really all that spacious, but I’ve seen and played with these babies in the flesh, and it really just is an illusion – looks CAN be deceiving because you really can fit more in there than you think you can. And oh, it looks MUCH cuter as a clutch.

That said, I’d even go as far as to dub these Petite Malles as collectors’ items, firstly, because it’s modelled after a Vuitton travel trunk, and secondly,  when you’re not using the bag, it’ll look good as an ornamental piece which can be displayed on your mantel, taking versatility to new heights! I mean, how many bags can you think of that would look good as on your shoulder/arm AND at home on a shelf as a decorative object?

Love the mix of silver and gold hardware! See? Who says it’s taboo to do so?

Last, but certainly not the least, is my favourite of all time – the Bubble Petite Malle.  I Totally adore the shorter strap, as I’ve always preferred to carry bags in my arm rather than on my shoulder, partly because shoulder bags are never able to stay up, and also because it lightens the load when you tote bags on the arm rather than on the shoulder. Now THIS, I’d use with the chunky chain strap, held instead by the chain handle, instead of in the arm. Not only is it brilliant that part of the chain has a leather coating so that there won’t be marks on your arm, but also because this is bulkier than the regular Petite Malle, I wouldn’t be clutching it around because it would be rather difficult to hold. And while this version in mint is super cute, the one in pastel pink is WAAAY more adorable!

Are you as smitten by the Petite Malle as much as much as I am?
