Louis Vuitton, along with the likes of Fendi (the Strap You) and more recently Prada, has launched a collection of detachable decorative straps.

Not to be confused with the Speedy Bandoulière range, these Bandoulière straps, aren’t meant only for the Speedy Bandoulière. In fact, this seemingly fancy French word just means “shoulder”. So whichever Vuitton bag it is, be it the Alma, Speedy, Sofia Coppola bag, or even the Capucines with the shoulder strap, these latest strap offerings can be used to dress your bags up or for that added pop of colour.

Available in a myriad of materials from Monogram Canvas and Epi leather, to python and animal prints, the straps can be worn on either side depending on your mood and outfit because both sides are different! 😉 And you can even personalise them and have your initials hot stamped on the Haute Maroquinerie leather.

Well, the one thing that can be concluded from this “Strapmania”, is that more and more brands are sure to come up with their own version of straps soon, so rest assured, they’re definitely here to stay.
