
I’ve got a Burberry Crush!
Yup, as the title of the post suggests, I’ve got a Burberry Crush. Well okay, so I didn’t get myself one, but what I’m trying to say is that I have got a MAJOR crush on the Burberry Crush, THE “It”bag from the Brit label’s Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection.
Most relationships begin with a Crush. When we start harbouring feelings for someone, that Little Crush may soon develop into a Big Crush! Now, I’m not just trying to play up the puns and be punny over here, because that’s exactly what Creative Director, Christopher Bailey has named the 2 sizes they come in: the Little Crush and the Big Crush.
As I pointed out in an earlier post, the Crush’s distinguishing feature is the gusseted top that comes with a drawstring pulls on both, and with an additional padlock detail on the Little Crush. From exotic skins and animal prints to studded and eyelet embellishments, these Burberry Prorsum AW13 runway pieces are certainly worth every single pretty penny.
Even before its official launch in-stores, the Crush has been wildly popular with celebs. And for Burberry’s latest AW13 campaign star Sienna Miller, it wasn’t just something she posed with – she was also spotted out and about with the Little Crush, along with tennis star Serena Williams with my favourite version of the Big Crush.
