Introducing: Bags by “Jump From Paper”

After seeing it on a friend of mine, “Jump From Paper” bags are my current obsession. Founded by Taiwanese design duo Rika Lin and Chay Su these are unique, one-of-a-kind bags that look like they’ve sprung out from the pages of a cartoon or comic strip.

Sure these bags look like they’re just doodles of bags, and that’s what they look like – they’re two-dimensional bags, which, with the designers’  clever use of colours and shading, create an illusion that they are actually the regular 3-dimensional bags when in actuality they’re completely slim and flat from both the front and the sides (i.e. there’s neither depth nor width). But flat or not, these quirky bags are causing a frenzy, with 4 already sold out of the 10 styles available.

Here’s my friend’s Boston-shaped bag, the “Travel Bag”.

Super fun and playful, it’s a surefire way to spice up your outfit! And what’s even better is that they’re priced between RM249 – 299, which make them über-affordable! I’m definitely going to get my hands on one! Oh and the ones that are sold out the official website? They’re available at Pipit Zakaa (see info below)
