Instagram Snapshots of My Collaboration With Dior in November

Ever since I’d written my reflective 2016 Year in Review blogpost, asking what you’d like to see more of,  I’ve received many emails from a lot of you, my dear readers, who have either told me that you might’ve missed some of my Dior collaboration posts from November 2016 because they were uploaded intermittently on Instagram over a span of 3 weeks, or that some of you didn’t have Instagram, and would like to have a look at the photos. So today’s blogpost is all about that, and for those of you who’ve been following me and supporting me on Instagram, then this would be a throwback post of sorts for you 🙂

Let me tell you a little bit of the concept and inspiration behind these Instagram posts, and the collaboration ( For those of you who are already familiar with this, then by all means skip this bit! 😉 )

This was a 3-week collaboration leading up to their women’s store opening in KLCC that revolved around a Limited Edition Lady Dior bag produced exclusively for Malaysia, specifically for the store launch. Because the new store was at KLCC, I released teaser photos on Instagram, taken at several recognisable parts of KLCC. Different parts of the bag were photographed, but never with the whole bag in full view. It was only in the final post, the day before the opening, both the entire bag, and the location were revealed.

Now, here you go!

The first photo, was of the bag’s long detachable shoulder strap, which I chose to style as a bracelet I thought I should photograph it in this way, because I’ve never seen it done before, even in fashion editorials, and also, because I love my arm swag, which, for those of you who already follow me on Instagram, would know about 😉

The second photo I uploaded, was of the side profile of the bag, with a reflection of the Petronas Twin Towers in the bubble, that reminded me of a crystal ball, so there’s that predictive element to it as well since I was asking you lovelies to guess what bag you thought it was going to be.

And in the third week, a little bit more of the bag is revealed, and for those of you hardcore Dior fans, by this time, you’d have already recognised it as a Lady Dior, and because most of you are fellow Bag Addicts, you did just that! 😉

So there you have it lovelies, the post that you’ve been requesting! Sorry I haven’t gotten round to doing so immediately after receiving your requests for this post, because I have been sick in bed for the past couple of days, with a pesky cough that keeps me up at night.

Do drop me an email, or DM me on Instagram or Facebook if there’s anything else you’d like to see!!
