Hermès Birkin Sellier Fauborg
What’s more iconic than the Holy Grail of all bags, the Birkin? Well, this new edition of the Birkin – that’s what! Why? Well this version is a Special Edition known as the Birkin Sellier Faubourg that has the historic Hermès store on 24 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, which has been at the same address since 1880 when the founder’s son, Charles-Émile took over the business. The body is made of Madame calfskin, with a matte crocodile flap, and a combination of Swift calfskin for the orange awnings, tiret and clochette, Sombrero calfskin for the bag’s base and line details, and Epsom Calfskin for the glass window panes. Oh, and the clochette, is modelled after the iconic orange Hermès paper bag, complete with “handles”! Such great attention to detail, don’t you think? Oh and in 20cm, it’s definitely a cutie, and one that is guaranteed to be a collector’s piece!
