Calling all Gucci enthusiasts and collectors out there! Gucci has collaborated with world-renowned auction house Christie’s called “Gucci Collector: Presented by Christie’s”, an online hub where you can assess your vintage Gucci bags and get them appraised. Just upload your vintage Gucci item and submit an appraisal request on the Christies website. Your item will then be given an auction estimate within 2-4 weeks. If your bag “qualifies”, you will also have the opportunity to sell your items to Gucci or in a future Christie’s auction if you so wish.

However before you do so, according to Christie’s, you will need to furnish them with the following information in order to submit your appraisal request:

• Clear colour images of the front and back, and a close-up of the Gucci signature or mark
• Dimensions, medium and other details available (i.e. exotic skins, etc)
• History of the item (when, where and how you acquired it)
• Copies of receipts, appraisals or any other literature relating to the item or certificates of authenticity, if available.
