Dior’s Denim Embroidered Saddle Bag

We all know that the Dior Saddle has made a comeback. And, for Fall/Winter 19, the iconic bag with brushed gold hardware for that slight vintage kinda vibe, has been reinterpreted in Embroidered DenimWhile more often than not, “embroidered denim” often means that it’s in Oblique canvas created by Marc Bohan in 1967  with “Dior” as an all-over print on the bags, this time it’s slightly different. This season’s embroidered version is three-dimensional (meaning the motif literally pops out from the denim), thus giving it a textured effect. Yep, brush your finger over the fabric and you’ll literally be able to feel and trace the “D-i-o-r” motif.

Also, if you always kinda liked the Oblique canvas but found it a tad too logo-ed for your liking due to the contrast colours, well, this tone-on-tone motif is more subtle, and less “in your face”. Even with “CHRISTIAN DIOR” emblazoned onto the denim on the bag’s body below the flap in the style of the now iconic Book Toteit still doesn’t feel too OTT, don’t you think?
