Fashion Week (London): Burberry Prorsum F/W 2010

The Verdict: The flavour of the F/W season seems to be studs and exotic leathers, especially python and croc that give the bags in this collection a gladiator-esque feel. Or perhaps, you could think of it as a motorcycle punk-rocker vibe. Whichever it is that Christopher Bailey was channelling, studs seem to be a mainstay for Burberry’s F/W 2010 collection. The shape of the season seems to be the hobo, whether in a more supple style, or with a more sturdy and structured look. That said, although I’m not usually a fan of Burberry, I do like the slouchy hobo bags in pink and yellow above. As for the rest of the bags, they’re a little too OTT for me, though I could picture someone like model Agyness Deyn sporting the studded bags from this collection. But then again, since Emma Watson is the new face of Burberry, I don’t really think these bags are suitable for her. Ah well *shrugs*
