The Hermès Leather Universe: Trompe-l’oeil

Hermès has debuted a new short film directed by American director Alex Prager that focuses on their leather goods. Entitled Trompe-lœil, it’s all about creating desire through an aspirational lifestyle. As French novelist and poet Alfred de Musset says, “every real gaze is desire”.
