Gucci has created a Stirrup bag for just about everyone for Fall/Winter 2012-13. Firstly, I have to say that I loved (and still do!) the Stirrup the moment it landed on the runway during Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2011 show. And now, the Stirrup family is expanding with this Fall’s introduction of the Lady Stirrup and the Soft Stirrup.

First up, the Lady Stirrup.

So, at this point, you might be wondering why the Lady Stirrup doesn’t at all resemble the Stirrup introduced in last year’s FW collection. Well, the distinctive marker, really isn’t in its silhouette, but in the details * points to the stirrup detail on the bag*.

I have to be honest, though that this isn’t the sort of shape and bag that I’d usually carry, because I find it a little mature for me. Nonetheless, it’s definitely something our mothers would dig, yes?

Next, the Soft Stirrup, which is a slouchier version of the Stirrup , and available in 2 sizes (medium and large).

Although I’m more of a tote bag fan and less of a hobo person, this is much closer to my style compared to the Lady Stirrup above, and I’d totally rock this! 😉 But of course, the Stirrup is still my Favourite!

Pick your poison: will it be the Lady Stirrup, or the buttery Soft Stirrup?
