Remember Gucci‘s GG Denim Jacquard from the Frida Giannini era? Guess what – Alessandro Michele brings it right back for the latest Epilogue Collection, in the form of ready-to-wear for both men and women, outerwear, bags, shoes, and accessories such as bucket hats. This time around, however, this organic cotton denim fabric was actually treated so that it’s resistant to water and dirt so how about that eh? And oh, did I also mention that it’s also made from production processes adhere to sustainable practices such as the restriction of the use of chemicals, including the elimination of pesticides and artificial fertilisers during the cultivation process?

In terms of the bags, you’d find the Dionysus (small and mini) and the Jackie 1961, both of which come with grainy brown leather trims. SLGs include the matching accessories from the Dionysus, Supermini Dionysus and Jackie 1961 accessories lines.

Personally, we love the casual chicness of it all, and we’re also super in love with the pointy toed flats that convert into mules by just bending the back down. And who says denim on denim ain’t a good idea, because these looks certainly prove that it’s more than A-Ok. 😉
