Gucci x Ken Scott Capsule
Gucci has collaborated with American fashion designer Ken Scott on a Capsule for the Epilogue Collection. Renowned for his patterned fabrics, especially large scale flowers in eluding peonies, roses, poppies, and sunflowers, the designer was christened as “the gardener of fashion.” The collection features both menswear (including outerwear, suits, jackets, and tracksuit sets) and womenswear (such as coats, lingerie, blazers, tees, evening gowns, and dresses), shoes, as well as silk accessories, and of course bags (including the Jackie and 1955 Horsebit).
Ken Scott was a really great creator of fabrics … [H]e mapped out flowers with romanticism and flowers into pop culture. He treated flowers like shop signs, he multiplied them, turned them into something that stood out. I like his work because I am obsessed with floral prints” ~ Alessandro Michele ~
