After Spring/Summer 15’s “Back to School” collection, Anya takes it to the streets for Autumn/Winter 15. And when I say streets, I mean road signs and traffic signals. Entitled “Diversion”, it was all about signages  and motifs commonly found on motorways – from “Men at Work” and “Speed Cameras”, to “Slow Down” and “Stop”. Anya’s oversized curtain tieback-esque tassel, now too, takes on the form of a traffic cone. And there was a kit-kat clutch and a chef tote thrown in, but perhaps that was to signify the common snacks that are taken with us when we are on-the-go.

Anya on her inspiration for the season: “There is something about being on the M25 with a clear road and combination of lights, reflective surfaces … I love the iconic graphic signage with its purity and efficiency of message”

When all is said and done, quirk is something that Anya does best, especially making things we commonly take for granted (like traffic signs) into statement pieces.
