A couple of weeks back, I was invited to attend Furla’s Spring/Summer 15 Press Day, but as fate would have it, something came up, so I wasn’t able to make it in time for the event.

For SS15, Furla emphasises its support of the art world. It wasn’t just the “Neo Pop” collection that made it so, but the entire event setup oozed with the artsy-artsy vibe. Held at Imagerom in Sunway Damansara Technology Park, the space had Furla’s Candy bags suspended in mid-air, and wall panels with splotches of colour, with the bags at its centre, transformed the bags into framed art pieces. The entire ambience gave off the impression of an art gallery, with bags sitting on almost invisible ledges that sprouted from the wall.
