Louis Vuitton’s 2018 FIFA World Cup Collection

With the FIFA World Cup fever well and truly under way, how about something more luxe than the regular official merchandise? Well, how about these official licensed products by Louis Vuitton, which draws inspiration from the official soccer ball from the 1970 FIFA World Cup?

Available in red, black, or blue Epi leather, the hexagonal design on these Keepall and Apollo bags as well as the SLGs are immediately recognisable as something you’d see on a classic football (that’s soccer ball for the Americans reading this).

An array of SLGs include luggage tags which you can choose to attach to your bags so you can fly the flag of your favourite team loud and proud for all to see. Just like the number of participating countries for this major sporting event, there are also 35 “flags” for you to choose from for your luggage tags. Zippered pouches too, are part of the collection.

If you’re a hardcore footie fan who wants something even more special, then there’s also a special made-to-order Keepall available in 8 colours and 5 trims. The prices for these custom Keepalls begin at $4,300 and take approximately 8-10 weeks to produce. This means that you’d only be getting your custom merchandise only after the World Cup is over, but I guess if you’re a fanatic, it doesn’t really matter?

If you’re wondering how you can score these pieces (other than the made-to-order Keepall), they’re available from now until July 15 at the Louis Vuitton Miami Design District Pop-up Store, as well as on the Official Website. Or, if you’re in Russia, you can get yours from the temporary pop-up store in Moscow at the Crocus City Mall, from now until 31 July.
