“By the way”, or “btw” – A nonchalant, noncommittal statement made in passing, to conveniently change the topic in a conversation, or sometimes even an inquisitive remark “btw, have you heard… (insert rest of sentence here)” about something that you want to share with someone, or merely seeking confirmation about a certain thing you heard from the rumour mill. Such are the common uses for this particular phrase. Fendi’s latest offering, the “By the Way” bag, is anything but. 

Made of fine calfskin (exotic skin versions are available too), the “By the Way” is a boston-shaped bag that is so versatile that it can be worn in 4 ways – slung on the shoulder with the detachable strap, carried by the the short handles, slung through your arm, or even as a clutch (just collapse the handles by sliding it flat through the studs, put your hand through it, and you’re good to go!)

I’m totally lusting over the bi-coloured versions, but if you prefer something safer or in a solid colour, then there’s that option too.
