Dior’s Mizza Capsule for Fall 2021
Leopard prints (and other sorts of animania, really) have always been a fave of ours, whether on clothes, bags, or even shoes. And for Fall 2021, we couldn’t have been more delighted that Dior has reinvented the leopard print (which is also one of the Maison’s iconic codes) as a tribute to Mizza Bricard, also known as Monsieur Dior’s muse.
The Mizza collection was inspired by a leopard from the archives, particularly from 1950, designed by the one and only Christian Dior. This season, you’d see the leopard on the buttons of the unlined Bar Jacket, as well as on shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, footwear, and of course on bags such as the Lady D-Lite, Saddle, Book Tote (including the mini size), as well as SLGs such as detachable coin purses, and a clutch – all of which, come in colourways such as natural, tone-on-tone black, as well as red and black.
Who said leopard print = streetwalker vibes? When done right, it can look super sophisticated.
