Dior has set up the Lady Dior Pop-Up store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Constructed and made to look like an XXL version of the Lady D-Lite with its three-dimensional embroidery (not to mention, the perfect OOTD spot right now), you’d also find the interior separated into 3 “rooms”.

Upon entry, you’d be welcomed by a dedicated art space presenting the Lady Dior As Seen By exhibition, featuring a selection of Lady Dior sculptures by various artists including Daniel Arsham, as well as a deconstructed glass version of the iconic Lady Dior, including one made of laser cut paper, and another, made completely from gold Eiffel Tower charms. Photography by internationally renowned artists, too, adorn the walls of this curated mini museum.

Walk on a little bit further inside, and you’d find yourself in the middle room which offers the ABCDior service, with rows and rows of plain white Lady D-Lite bags from floor to ceiling on both walls. In this interactive space,  you can decide what you’d like to have your bags customised with, be it your name or a phrase, and then pick it up approximately 6 weeks later. Head on over to the last room at the back, and that’s where the Lady Dior Pop-Up store is. Here, you would be able to purchase the iconic bags, including those creations by renowned artists who collaborated with the Maison on the exclusive Dior Lady Art Collection. You’d also be introduced to the newest member of the Lady Dior family, an elongated version of the iconic bag, known as the Lady D-Joy, available in Cannage lambskin, as well as my personal favourite, the new Diamond Cannage with a three-dimensional Cannage moulded onto the leather. Malaysia is also the first to launch this bag, ahead of its global launch! What a treat!
