Dior’s Dioriviera x Vespa Launches Exclusively in KL!

Dior goes from  bikes to vespas — yup, you read that right! After the success of the Maison’s BMX models back in 2018, they’re back with another collaboration on wheels, and this time, it’s with the iconic motor-scooter, Vespa. The model, redesigned by Maria Grazia Chiuri comes in off-white, with brushed gold detailing on the handlebars, mirrors, rims, and even on the Vespa itself. To make it distinctively Dior, there’s also a subtle CD logo in brushed gold, along with “Christian Dior” in a horizontal racing stripe style, on the sides of the bike just like the ones on the Book Tote and several other bag styles, as well as the Dior Oblique motif on the underside of the leather seat.

And to make this an entirely Dior look, there’s also the helmet in Dior Oblique as well as the trunk-like Vespa 946 Christian Dior Top Case, which essentially replaces the attachment box that’s usually fastened onto the scooter’s tail … I mean, we can’t have a Dior branded Vespa without a matching box now, can we? 😉 Oh and if you want the trunk experience for when we are eventually allowed to travel, just detach it from your scooter, and carry it along with you off to your next destination! And for those of us in Kuala Lumpur, we’re in for a treat, because this Vespa will have its very own exclusive launch at Dior Pavilion today!!
