We caught glimpses of similar hand-painted versions of Dior bags for the Spring/Summer 14 collection earlier this year, but Creative Director Raf Simons goes all out with the painterly vibe for the Cruise 2015 season on not just the bags, but also the SLGs, accessories and, yes, even the shoes.

While for SS14 the bags resembled actual floral imagery, Cruise 2015 takes a slightly more modern artistic approach in the form, be they flowers, faces, or just broad grandiose brushstrokes and splashes of colour. What was consistent, though, was that it had “Dior” printed on them, in a style that, which, to me, resembles the typography of a “lipstick on a mirror”, if you get what I mean.
