Jason Wu debuted his handbag collection in Spring/Summer this year. For Cruise 2012, Wu plays with totes (that has a rather unisex appeal in my opinion), top handle briefcase-esque bags, structured boxy chain-strap bags that can be converted into a clutch, and another trend that seems to be surfacing for Cruise/Resort season in 2012 — Wristlets!!
That said, while I’m all for the bright-hued wristlets and chain strap bags-cum-clutches, I have always been a tote kind of girl, preferring to carry my bag on my arm rather than on the shoulders (the main reason being my sloping shoulders =(, which I would say is a genetic deficiency because mummy dearest has them too!). But perhaps it’s also a blessing in disguise because arm candies seem more chic compared to shoulder bags…. or well, I think so anyway. Whoops, I’m digressing. Anyway, what I was trying to get at, is that the totes are not my kinda thing and not my kinda style.
