Loewe’s Fall/Winter 2013 Bags!
Spanish brand Loewe is known for using the softest leathers there are out there, and for their Fall/Winter 2013-14 collection, 3 key styles – some reworked versions of current bags in the Loewe family – will be stealing the spotlight for the season.
Meet the “Amaya”, a reinterpretation of the “Flamenco”. Still made from soft napa, the drawstring silhouette remains but unlike the tassels on the Flamenco the string pulls have been replaced by a metal version that looks a little like a horsebit. Top handles have also been added on the “Amaya”, so you can carry it either using the long shoulder strap, or in your arm.
The iconic Amazona needs no introduction. But for Fall/Winter 2013, it will be available in fluffy shaved shearling, which was one of the key elements in the RTW collection. It will be available in 4 colours – black, white (shown below), red, and blue.
And last, but certainly not the least, the “Aia” (pronounced Aiya) flap bag. Similar in shape to the “Clock” bag from Spring/Summer 2013, the distinctive feature of this bag is definitely its whipstitched details. It not only comes with a short shoulder strap and a longer, cross-body strap, but also may be used as a clutch. All you gotta do is tuck the straps into the bag! So that’s one bag that can be worn in 3 ways! Super versatile, and not to mention practical and chic at the same time! 😉
