You know I’m a big fan of quirk and all things cutesy and whimsical, and I fell in love at first sight when I first saw these Kara Ross beauties on Instagram. I wasn’t a stranger of the New York-based Kara Ross brand, and haven’t really written about her bags because they’re usually in classic shapes and styles, with some minor adjustments in terms of materials each season. And then, I saw these! How adorable are they?? Okay, so they may not be for everyone but I just had to blog about this because I love it to bits! Let’s just say I really haven’t fallen so hard for a bag ever.

And oh, just so you know, they the Swarovski crystal details on the bags (eyelashes and freckles in the one above and the ones below) don’t come with, because the ones with the crystals are customised.

Speaking of customising your own, you can choose between white, beige, or black leather, or exotic leathers in champagne-coloured lizard skin (which looks gold), white, black, or champagne python leather, with either gold, silver, or gunmetal hardware. And that’s just the beginning – because once you’ve chosen your leathers and hardware, comes the fun part! You get to pick out the type of eyes, lips, eyebrows, cheeks, and eyewear to your liking! I played around with the customise tool, but haven’t really explored the full palette we get to select from because I have PhD deadlines to fulfil.
