Ever since its introduction, the Pouch by Bottega Veneta, has become a cult favourite, literally flying off the shelves (both brick and mortar, as well as online!). They’re so popular that demand certainly outweighs supply. For the Spring/Summer 2020 season, the brand has decided to create a variation of the original, as we saw on the runway.

Known as The Chain Pouch, the lustworthy clutch comes in a slightly more linear silhouette, and this time, with the addition of a chunky metallic chain strap made of square links, and no easy feat either because it requires the expertise of master jewellers who sculpt each individual link by hand by way of an electorforming process before assembling and polishing it. Made of the same supple buttery soft light Vitello Nappato leather, along with a more unique version available in hand-embossed Zebra lambskin.

Ah, the perfect way to add a touch of glamour to a variation of the original Pouch don’t you think?
