The Serpenti has become synonymous with Bulgari‘s brand DNA. This year, the Maison has created several Valentine’s Day Capsule Collection called Electro Love. The items from this Capsule comprises the Serpenti Forever crossbody bag, leather bracelet, as well as a twilly (or, “shelley” in Bulgari-speak) – all of which come in cobalt tourmaline and red (known as carmine jasper).

The small-sized Serpenti Forever Electro Love crossbody bag comes with contrasting edges, with the iconic snakehead closure, also with cobalt tourmaline and carmine jasper enamel, black onyx eyes, and the pierced red enamel heart charm below it.

Next up, the Serpenti Forever leather bracelet is my favourite from the Valentine’s capsule. I initially wanted to purchase the original double tour version because I thought it’s super pretty, but then when I tried it on, I felt the need to remove it immediately, because snakes really freak me out, and an enamelled version of the snake head, apparently, also did the same. However, somehow, the open style bracelet with the snake head on one end, and the enamel heart on the other, seems like a much sweeter (read: less scary) option

And rounding up my top 3 picks from Bulgari’s Valentine’s Capsule, is this “Tie Me Heart” shelley in fine saglione silk. With one side in red, and the reverse side in blue, this is similar to Hermès’s Camouflage twilly, because it can be worn on either side. Or, tie a funky knot, and you’d get to see both colours. Personally, I love wearing these on my wrist as a bracelet, or in my hair, instead of using it as an adornment for your bag’s handles or as a bow on your bag.

As for the bags, I certainly prefer these Electro Love edition ones, in comparison to the regular Serpenti Forever bags. What about you?
