Ferragamo has partnered with Italian handbag designer Sara Battaglia who owns her own namesake label as part of the brand’s commitment to promoting new talents in the industry. Called the Sara Battaglia For Ferragamo Capsule Collection, the young designer took inspiration from the House’s iconic platform Rainbow sandal  and used the motif to create a collection of four different handbag styles in various sizes, and SLGs including a wallet, notebook, pouch, keychain, and belt.

The elongated wedged layers on the bags, just like the layers on the Rainbow sandal, remain the main distinctive feature for the Sara Battaglia For Ferragamo Capsule Collection, with the layers either in multicolour, a combination of metallic layers. In the case the solid-coloured bags, the layers are created with a mixture of textured and exotic leathers instead.  The smaller bags, namely the bucket and small crossbody come with a woven silk scarf interlaced onto the bag.
