Jonathan Anderson’s Spring/Summer 16 collection for Loewe was a little … unconventional, to say the least, or maybe, a nod to futuristic attire? We saw everything from metallic silver space-age-typed vibes to broken mirror shards-esque embellished pants, and transparent shirts and pants, that, from afar, Loewe branded separates, and what looked like loosely-fitted Glad Wrap with the Loewe anagram monogram, which I hope, is made of breathable plastic.

The new bags, too, came in unconventional shapes, embellished in oversized press button details, or with LOEWE emblazoned onto them. There was also a plastic foldover transparent bag thing, in the same anagram monogrammed-embossed plastic, which, truth be told, looks more like a plastic dossier that has been folded. And then there were also the usual suspects: the Flamenco with a cutesy squirrel-cat-snail hybrid print, the Puzzle, which now come in fur, exotic skins, and transparent versions, the Amazona, and the hobo. The yellow Barcelona with strip quilting details was my favourite.
