While we’re on the topic of bucket bags (remember the Mansur Gavriel version yesterday?), here’s another version, from Michael Kors’s Main Line, launched as part of the Resort 2015 collection.

Here’s the thing, though. Although the Mansur Gavriel bucket bag is all the rage and something Planet Fashion simply can’t get enough of, I really do prefer this Michael Kors Miranda Drawstring Messenger. I guess you could say I’m rather drawn to the cord-like drawstring, with hardware accents at the ends and the middle, which make it much sleeker.

The pastel pink is such a gorgeous hue that reminds me of ice-cream, cupcakes and other delectable treats, while the exotic python version below, well, what can I say, you hardly ever see python bags in this colour combo. Some of you might think that it resembles a highly poisonous or venomous snake (those brightly coloured ones, usually are, aren’t they?) but I think the colour combo is sweet, feminine, and not that snake-like.
