#LFW: Burberry Autumn/Winter 15 Runway & Bags Report
While I felt that it was a more Native American vibe that Burberry Creative Director Christopher Bailey had going on for the Men’s Autumn/Winter 15 show last month, the Bohemian vibe came through more clearly for the Women’s Autumn/Winter 15 show yesterday. What was shown on the runway certainly fit the collection’s theme, “Patchwork, Pattern and Prints”, particularly those thigh-high suede boots. And like any boho-inspired collection, fringe was a big part of the collection. And, like any part of the Burberry live runway experience, Claire Maguire reprised her role as the musician of choice, providing the soundtrack as the models traipsed up and down the catwalk.
In true Burberry fashion, the Autumn/Winter 15 collection is available for Pre-Order from now until 9th March via the official website, and any items purchased during this period is available for personalisation as part of the Runway Made To Order service. And yes, this includes the bag of the season, the Bucket bag, which comes in a variety of leathers and textures, including suede fringe, House Check, camouflage, and leopard-printed ponyhair.
Oh, did I mention that Burberry Campaign stars Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn got to sit back and watch the show instead of walking the runway this time around?
