With brands reviving their classic handbags of late – first the Dior Saddle and the return of the Fendi Baguette just a couple of days ago – Tod’s, too has jumped onto the bandwagon. Along with some new silhouettes with a boho-esque oval buckle detail, the D Bauletto Bag (with some minor tweaks)and a variant of the Girielli tote (the one with the folded over corners fastened with a button on each side) made their comeback as part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 19 collection. 

Hmm…Perhaps we can christen the SS19 bags “Something old (D Bauletto), Something new (oval buckle bags), Something borrowed (the variant of the Girelli) Something a little Blue (the Bauletto with the Balenciaga Bazar-esque stripes) ? What do you think?
