Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons “Masters” Collection
Louis Vuitton has collaborated with the renowned artist, Jeff Koons (remember that Balloon Dog sculpture that you seem to see everywhere these days? that’s originally his work!) on a collection entitled Masters. The collection comprises accessories and handbags featuring iconic artworks by Leonardo da Vinci (Mona Lisa), Peter Paul Rubens (The Tiger Hunt), Jean-Honoré Fragonard (Girl With Dog), Titian (Mars, Venus and Cupid) and Van Gogh (A Wheatfield With Cypresses).
Expect to see these works of art printed onto the leather, with the nameplates of the artists and the Louis Vuitton logo and flower motifs that we see on monogram, as well as a JK logo – all of which are overlayed onto the bags and accessories, as hardware. The collection includes the Neverfull, Speedy, Chain Bags, Montaigne, and Palm Springs backpacks, and comes with a matching leather Jeff Koons bunny charm.
The collection will be dropping in selected Vuitton stores from April 28. For those of us in Malaysia, the collection will also be available then, but only Van Gogh and Da Vinci will be sold in local our local Vuitton stores. View the complete collection right here
