It’s been awhile since I last remember seeing an envelope-styled pouch, but thanks to Daniel Lee, he brings back the Envelope Pouch to Bottega Veneta, as part of the House’s Pre-Spring 2020 offerings. This cutie right here is an evolution of the sought after The Pouch.

Just as roomy, I have to say this is a whole lot lighter than its forebear, because they’ve done away with the magnetic frame top with this envelope style. The triangular motif is not just visible on the flap closure itself, but is also replicated on the bag’s side profile, with a wider base and a narrower top. Available in buttery soft lambskin in plain colour, or a zebra print version, which has been manually embossed onto the leather. This minimalistic day-to-night clutch can be tucked under the arm or handheld for a more polished look, and even  slung on the wrist for a more casual, hands-free vibe.
