Bottega Veneta Launches the Art of Gifting for the Holidays! — Gifts for Her

With Thanksgiving weekend having just passed, Christmas is just around the corner! And to celebrate the season of giving, Bottega Veneta has launched the Holiday 2013 Art of Gifting on their official website where you’d be spoilt for gift ideas with Bottega Veneta’s specially curated picks for both men (“For Him”) and women (“For Her”). What’s more, these picks would be refreshed on a weekly basis!

Now here are some of my recommended picks:

1. The Bretagne

I know I’ve blogged about the Bretagne before, but I’ve included it in my list of favourites as a gift idea this Christmas because it’s chic, fuss-free and classy. My pick would definitely have to be the navy.

2. Intreccio Impero Ayers Knot Clutches

It really is no secret that these iconic Knot clutches have always been a personal favourite of mine. I am particularly fond of the bulbous python-leather weave combo (from few seasons back) the studded version and of course, this particular combination of satin with Ayers (a particular type of snakeskin) trims. The Knot is most certainly a classic and timeless piece whether for cocktails or black tie soirees.

3. Intrecciomirage and Intrecciolusion Collection

In a gorgeous shade of light blush pink for the Holiday season, these collections have Bottega Veneta’s iconic weave either embossed onto the leather as a motif (Intrecciomirage) and printed onto the nylon (Intrecciolusion) instead of the usual classic interwoven leather. Oh and the plus side to this? It’s more affordable! ;D

4. Pony Madras Heritage Mirror Bag

With the leopard printed ponyhair and mirrored details on the flap, some might consider this piece quite uncharacteristic in terms of Bottega Veneta’s usual aesthetic, but hey, it is nice to have something that would have people guessing every once in a while, innit?

5. Intreccio Tricot Wool Bag

This bag is so beautifully constructed that one can’t even tell that its actually wool because it sort of looks a little like it’s made from an exotic skin. The rose gold trims perfectly accent the bag giving it that uber-luxe appeal, and the “woven” bits that accentuate the hardware makes it distinctly Bottega.

PS: stay tuned for another Bottega Veneta post with gift ideas for men and remember to check the Bottega Veneta site weekly for updated picks from the Bottega Veneta team! 😉
