Paris Fashion Week: Chloe Spring/Summer 2011
The Verdict: Truth be told, Chloe taking the small bags route is a day I’d never thought I’d see. Hannah McGibbon sent down a slew of small bags and what appeared to be wristlets down the Spring/Summer 2011 runway at Paris Fashion Week. The new collection also seems to be fuss-free, with boxy rectangular bags in solid colours with minimal details.
I’m really indifferent to this collection, and not really a fan of those rectangular and square shaped bags – the small bags look more like cosmetic cases (or pencilcases) and the square zip-around minis and wristlets remind me of wallets and camera bags. And as for what appears to be bow clutches it ain’t really all that new – Prada did that for their S/S 2007, and then came Chanel 2 seasons later. So yea….
What I DO love about the collection is the RTW — very chic dancer-esque and ballerina-esque.
