Thanks to the folks at Grazia , here’s new YSL Creative Director, Hedi Slimane’s,  first ever handbag for the brand, custom-made specially for Gwyneth Paltrow!

It’s very minimalist, just like the new Saint Laurent Paris Logo . Simple, no frills, but still luxe – I suspect that this is the type of design aesthetic that Slimane is going for, but we can’t be sure until we see his Spring/Summer 2013 show at Paris Fashion Week this October!
That said, the bag doesn’t really give me that “wow” factor, and certainly is nothing that we haven’t seen before. In fact, it’s just like a regular leather Boston bag, and dare I say, a slouchier version of Louis Vuitton’s Sofia Coppola bag. Thoughts?
