Meet Dior’s New Granville Boston Bag
As you all know, due to the lack of a creative director, Dior’s Fall/Winter 2011-12 collection was designed by the Dior Atelier. Perhaps that could be why Dior’s new Boston from the Fall/Winter 2011-12 collection seems like a mishmash of existing Dior bags, most notably the Lady Dior, and could be considered as the Lady Dior Boston. In fact, I shall knight thee Lady Dior Boston. I mean, from the flat handles, to the hanging D-I-O-R charm details right down to Dior’s signature Cannage motif (well, it could very be well considered as the House monogram) just screams Lady Dior doesn’t it? This bag however, is a little too “Lady Chic” for me, but if I had to choose between either of them, I’d pick the beige one. I also prefer rolled handles rather than the flat handles on the bag and the Lady Dior because it tends to cut into the arm because I’m one who opts to carry bags on my arm rather than on the shoulder (yes, them sloping shoulders that I have mentioned before)
What about you?
