The Verdict: Chanel’s F/W 2010 collection is Of Eskimos, igloos, ice cubes and polar bears. The “ice cube” themed bags is perhaps building on the Limited Edition “ice cube” 2.55 from F/W 2007. The only difference is that the 2.55 of ’07 is in metallic silver, whilst this see-through version in white resembles actual ice cubes. Anyhoo, I’m loving the ice cube-themed clutches with Chanel’s signature interlocking C logo, and I applaud Karlmeister for that. As for the rest of the bags, they are too furry, and hence unappealing. First thing that came to mind when I saw these bags? They look like Chewbacca from Star Wars (yes, that brown furry wolf-like character from the series). Even the colour of the fur is similar, no? What do YOU think?
