Tumi Collaborates With Artist John “Crash” Matos

Tumi collaborates with artist John “Crash” Matos on Tags, which is a Limited Edition collection for their Vapor line of travel cases.
Artist “Crash” grew up in the South Bronx, with beginnings in graffiti art. He then made the transition from subway trains and dilapidated buildings to canvas in 1978 – but still painted in the graffiti art style – and presented his solo exhibition in 1981. A highly renowned artist, Crash’s pieces are housed in prestigious museums like MoMA in New York, The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, along with collections that are housed by private collectors around the world.

The Tags collection consists of four packing cases (shown below), with each showcasing a section of Crash’s work, while the interior of each travel case features one of 4 working drawings by the artist.
