Bottega Veneta for Japan Relief Efforts

Ever since the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan in early March, the house of Bottega Veneta has donated ALL proceeds from sales made on website to the Japan relief effort. As part of their ongoing relief support, Bottega Veneta has designed a special Limited Edition keychain which is designed to look like the Japanese flag but in true signature Bottega Veneta fashion: the iconic intrecciato weave in nappa leather.

Creative Director Tomas Maier comments, “I am moved and inspired by the courage and determination of the Japanese people. In designing this keychain I hoped to create not just a means of financial contribution but also a bold symbol of shared care and commitment. I hope the people will draw strength from this and other symbols of the world’s love and support as they work to rebuild their country”

Only 1,000 pieces of this Limited Edition keychain are available worldwide, and will be sold in all Bottega Veneta stores as well as on the Official website. This keychain goes on sale on June 12 2011 with a retail price of RM610. 100% of all proceeds will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
