Burberry Launches Face Masks

With face masks becoming part of our #newnormal thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re seeing more and more independent and luxury designers producing them. Burberry has launched a selection of face masks with antimicrobial technology, available exclusively online.

These cotton face masks are available in pale blue and archive beige in their classic Vintage check. Made of sustainably revalued fabric, these reusable and washable masks are not just fashionable, but fully functional too, with Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE). They come with a matching travel pouch that is also treated with antimicrobial technology.

20% of proceeds from the sale of each face mask will go to the Burberry Foundation COVID-19 Community Fund, set up in April 2020 in support of local communities in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. The fund is 100% run by The Burberry Foundation, which also provides PPE, assistance to food banks and healthcare charities globally, as well as donations that go toward vaccine research. The brand’s commitment to the pandemic has led to the conversion of its Castleford factory in Yorkshire, which manufactures non-surgical gowns for medical and care workers, with over 160,000 pieces of PPE donated since.

If you like these, stay tuned for more styles to be launched this Autumn.
